If you love watching Henry Cavill in The Witcher, but also loves to play Pokemon GO in your spare time; this new mobile game seemed to be the one you needed amid quarantine. Warning, though, this game shows scary graphics. So it is technically, not your typical PoGo hunting skill.

Where to catch the monster in The Witcher?

Who doesn't love Henry Cavill? Or his character on the series The Witcher as Geralt? If you love the series and had tolerated the creepy monsters lurking in the dark in the series, here's a perfect game for you.

The Verge reported that game developer CD Projekt Red has a new mobile game called The Witcher: Monster Slayer. This game is based on the famous Netflix series, and features augmented reality (AR) for iOS and Android users.

Imagine a game that has The Witcher's storyline, but has gameplay just like the famous Niantic Pokemon GO.

That is how the latest CD Projekt Red mobile game is set to give to its mobile players this year through the game called The Witcher: Monster Slayer.

Just like Pokemon GO, this game also uses a real-time weather tracker in different places. As of now, we're not yet sure if this game is available around the globe, just like the Niantic game.

What we know for sure is that every monster killed, the game will give you trophies as proof of your conquest. The real-time map also seemed like the map from Pokemon GO. It includes possible clues where to find the monsters and even gives equipment on how to kill them.

Here's the synopsis of the mobile game:

"Monster Slayer lets players explore the world around them while tracking, studying, and fighting monsters both new and familiar, using time of day and real-life weather conditions to gain the upper hand. Preparation is key in order to defeat tougher enemies, as players will need to brew powerful potions and oils, craft bombs and monster bait, and upgrade their character before putting these beasts to the sword and signs in first-person AR combat."

The goal is not just to kill the monsters, and it is also said to be enriched with story-driven quests that were said to be inspired by the original series.

The Witcher: Monster Slayer is expected to be launched this year for Android and iOS gamers out there.
