A particular Twitter account called Zack @TeslaTested recently reached out to Elon Musk telling him that he has formed a limited liability company (LLC) along with 64 different investors. The investors have reportedly been able to bring together $50 million in order to invest in SpaceX. Elon Musk was then asked if there was a way for them to bring in such investment. Sadly, Elon Musk replied that they have just completed the very first round of financing but he will "let you know" should another round of financing come up.

Tesla stocks went up, SpaceX could?

After Tesla stocks started to skyrocket, it seems like the next biggest stock to go up could still come from Elon Musk himself. With the multiple successes of SpaceX, it's hard not to see the company's stocks go up. Starlink has been making progress while SpaceX has been securing contracts left and right with the United States government and NASA in order to further space exploration.

It's actually hard to imagine just how much money goes into space exploration but the reality can be seen with how SpaceX, a totally private company to begin with, was able to launch its way into the space industry which not only has a big budget, but also invests quite a lump of money to those who can deliver their necessary outputs.

SpaceX's short brush with bankruptcy

Luckily for SpaceX, they've been able to deliver on their promises starting with the Falcon 9 which had a rocky start but nonetheless was able to push through. SpaceX was apparently on the brink of bankruptcy and only had the funds to carry out one last launch in order to prove to be a worthy partner for NASA. Luckily, that last launch paid off and SpaceX was able to land contracts that would not only allow them to continue but also allow them to expand on their plans.

Ultimately, Elon Musk has expressed their plans to go to Mars some time in the future which is why SpaceX's dragon has been making trips to the ISS. The company has been looking for ways to make their trips more efficient as they target going to the moon as a stepping stone towards Mars. Should the consistent trips to the moon be successful, both SpaceX and NASA would finally be able to build the right rockets, assemble the right crew, and load up the right technology to, for the first time, send human beings to the moon.

As for possible investors in SpaceX, although the financing rounds are held quite privately, Elon Musk has expressed his fondness of private investments in comparison to the whole stock market and public investors.
