It has been four years since "Persona 5" saw its complete release, but it shows no signs of slowing down or retiring. The unique gameplay of "Persona 5" breaks through the "turn-based" traditional approach of role-playing games.

According to Games Rant, it can even be compared to Pocket Monsters, popularly known as "Pokemon," to the hit-Japanese game. However, there are no Pokeballs here that users can throw and capture an ally of choice. There are several methods in "Persona 5," and one of the most popular one is the process called Fusion. This method can help gather up allies that will accompany a player in objectives and missions.

Like any other game, "Persona 5" would teach the player how to perform the basics. In the game, the basics include catching demons and later turning them into Persona companions. Initially, there will be several randomly distributed demon, much like a starter Pokemon.

However, players can opt to search for their preferred demons. This is where conversing with them and catching demons come in. The game's demons have four windows or types of personality, and one can determine them through the method of conversation used.

Demons come and go in "Persona 5." Players may choose to keep them depending on their nature and skillset. However, it is essential to maximize each place or location when catching demons. It can also speed up the game's leveling up process, thus attracting more demons to join the merry band.

Inventory space for demons is one hindrance for a player to progress. Make sure to always to check one's storage and determine which demons or personas are to stay and go. Internal space will expand upon the story's progression. However, pay attention to one's storage during the early moments. Recruit as much demon as one can and build up experience with them.

Fusion: Velvet Room

The Velvet Room is where the magic, a.k.a Fusion, happens. There are plenty of ways to do the process, but the most basic one is clicking one demon after another. Fusion would do its magic and transform the demons into a whole new Persona, equipped with enhanced skills and features.

"Persona 5" is wary of the player's level, and particular fusion may be unavailable or fail if Personas do not meet the level required and vice versa. Level up fast to utilize more demons and fusions.

Persona Fusion's Skills

Most Fusions are random, and the game would predetermine what skills or objects would bore from the integration. There are several Fusion guides online, but even without one, a Persona would already bring unique features and abilities to the player. Players should also note the variety of skills and abilities in the game. Utilizing each and combining one with the other can bring the player an elite reputation in "Persona 5."

Register Persona Companions

Fusions are always unique and fun to perform. Results may even amaze the player through the process of Fusion. One meaningful way to save progress and Fusion details is by registering it in the book. The game needs manual saving to take note of one's favorite combination, which costs free. Demons can be taken out of the book for a fee but can be done at any time.

Persona Bonds

Fusions can further be manipulated or enhanced through the "social bonds" between the character and its chosen demons. Fusions are stronger and more special through nurturing one's demons. Demons in "Persona 5" are classified either as Priestess or Emperor. The bond's level matched with the character's sign can significantly increase the experience, status, and skill the Persona will get through fusion.
