BMW is well known for its high-end cars. However, most people are not aware that the giant vehicle manufacturer also produces scooters. CNET spotted BMW's new electric scooter concept called "Definition CE04."

The report even described it as the world's greatest cyberpunk pizza delivery vehicle. According to Auto Blog's latest report, the new idea came from BMW's "Concept Link," which was introduced in 2017.

Definition CE04's design doesn't have that much different design from the Concept Link.

Why doesn't Definition CE04 have a fuel tank?

BMW's new bike concept uses a skateboard-like chassis with the battery pack placed under the rider's feet. The motor is located near the wheel, just like in a regular scooter.

However, it doesn't have a fuel tank. BMW didn't include the gasoline-burning engine to make the Definition CE04 much lower than the company's other scooters.

Alexander Buckan, the design team's head, also explained that the powertrain and suspension components were intentionally left open to make them part of the whole appearance.

Definition CE04 will have 10.25-inch screen for your smartphone

BMW decided to include a 10.25-inch screen that will connect with your smartphone. Although this feature seems a little bit distracting, it will allow you to use your device's online maps without the need to take it out of your pocket.

The tech giant company is also offering a rider's apparel collection that will surely look awesome while riding the Cyberpunk-like scooter. These outfits not only look cool, but they can protect you just like other protective gear.

You can also wear them off the vehicle without looking too weird. BMW also wants to add lightings to the clothing to increase its visibility while driving in dark places, such as tunnels.

The company is also planning to include an inductive wireless phone charger in the gear's pocket.
