Warning: iPhone 12 Users Might Not be Able to Send or Receive Messages

Apple has announced quite a number of big things as of recent not just pertaining to the iPhone itself but also with the Big Sur and other rollouts. However, there seems to be quite a number of problems that users have reported with regards to the iPhone 12.

Problem: Apple iPhone 12 won't send SMS

An article by Forbes warnes users that are dying to get the iPhone 12 to maybe hold back a little bit just until the alleged problems are fixed. These problems aren't just small problems but could be potentially big problems. What's worse is that this is not technically an isolated event since there has been multiple reports pertaining to this particular problem.

This problem could be a potentially big problem and was initially spotted by MacRumors. It was said that a large number of iPhone 12 users were reporting that they cannot receive SMS messaging on the new models. The complaints include not being able to receive or send all the way to missing important messages within group chats and also receiving no notifications for new SMS messages which are able to make it through. This said problem, however, is said to also be affecting the older models and not just the iPhone 12 models.

Why can't I receive SMS messages on iPhone 12?

It is currently still unclear as to what is the main source of the problem but one thing is for sure, this is not something that users enjoy with some of them not even being able to tolerate it. This huge problem could cause big misunderstandings for those using their Apple iPhone 12s for work and not just for personal communication.

The problem can clearly cause communications and although this does not happen all the time, a lot of these users are still uneasy because there is no way of knowing which SMS messages they do not receive. The lack of notifications is also very scary when it comes to users being unable to know what they should have received.

When will the iPhone 12 problem be fixed?

As of the moment, Apple hasn't given a response regarding what exactly is happening to the iPhone 12 or what could be the cause of users being unable to receive SMS messages. As of the moment, although Apple has been informed about the problem, there is still no official response as to the whole situation.

Users, however, are still unaware if they are receiving all of their messages or just a portion of it due to the reported iPhone 12 malfunction. One of the Tweets by Eugene M. Lee @euge_lee confirmed on November 14 that a number of Apple users are indeed experiencing problems when it comes to receiving SMS messages on their iPhone 12. When will the iPhone 12 problem be fixed? Does this have something to do with iOS? Will users ever be able to see this problem fixed?
