Cyberpunk 2077 system requirements

As Cyberpunk 2077 will soon become available at PC, Xbox One, PS4, and attuned with current generation game consoles. While Xbox and PlayStation players just need to buy the title on e-store, PC gamers would need to set up a system that could run the game.

It should be noted that Cyberpunk 2077 is both a processor-and-graphics-intensive game, so it is highly suggested that computer components should at least meet the minimum requirements as specified below. Please take note as well that the minimum is the low settings gaming while the recommended settings is the high settings, which are both with 1080p gaming display.

Cyberpunk 2077 will also support DLSS 2.x and ray tracing, so if players want to experience the full fidelity, they should have advanced graphic cards, and that means a GeForce RTX GPU at the least. Meanwhile, Cyberpunk will also require DirectX 12, which can still run on Windows 7 since DX12 is ported to it. Here is the complete Cyberpunk 2077 PC requirements:

Cyberpunk 2077 Minimum PC: 1080p Low

Here are the minimum specs required to play the game:

  •  FX-8310 or Core i5-3570K
  •  RX 470 4GB or GTX 780 3GB
  •  Windows 7 or Windows 10 64-bit
  •  3GB VRAM
  •  8GB RAM
  •  70GB storage

Cyberpunk 2077 Recommended PC: 1080p High

This 1080p high recommended hardware will be a pretty tame gaming with moderately faster GPUs. Based on Tom's Hardware's analysis, Nvidia's 1060 6GB is around 30% faster than GTX 780 while AMD's R9 Fury X is also about 30% faster than RX 570 4GB as well as about 35% faster than Radeon RX 470, which is the minimum graphics card required.

  •  Ryzen 3 3200G or Core i7-4790
  •  GTX 1060 6GB,R9 Fury, or GTX 1660 Super
  •  Windows 10 64-bit
  •  6GB VRAM
  •  12GB RAM
  •  70GB SSD storage

While the recommended PC hardware will provide 1080p high, it is not sure whether that supports 30 fps or 60 fps. While the GTX 1060 will probably support between 35 to 45 fps in average, the GTX 1660 Super could be around 60 fps, which would still pretty low for a gaming PC.

System requirements to play in High and Ultra quality

For players who want to experience the best gameplay, they may get the latest GPUs if they have the money. The GeForce RTX 3090 can ensure a dream territory, although the GeForce RTX 3070 or GeForce RTX 3080 can also be sufficient.

Cyberpunk 2077: Here Are PC Requirements to Play in High and Ultra Quality

Cyberpunk 2077 Recommended PC for High quality

Here are the system requirements to play in high quality

  •  Intel Core i7-4790K / AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
  •  Radeon RX 5700 XT or RTX 2060
  •  Windows 10 64 bits
  •  12GB RAM
  •  70 GB SSD

Cyberpunk 2077 Recommended PC for Ultra Quality

Here are the system requirements to play in ultra quality

  •  Intel Core i7-4790K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  •  AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT or RTX 2060S
  •  Windows 10 64 bits
  •  16GB RAM
  •  70 GB SSD

Cyberpunk 2077 Recommended PC: 1440p Ultra

Here are the system requirements for 1440p ultra target, which include all recommendations except for the GPU.

  •  Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
  •  RX 5600 XT or RTX 2060
  •  Windows 10 64-bit
  •  12GB RAM
  •  6GB VRAM
  •  70GB SSD

Cyberpunk 2077 Recommended PC: 4K Ultra

Here are the system requirements for 4K ultra target.

  •  Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
  •  RTX 2080 Super, RX 6800, or RTX 3070
  •  Windows 10 64-bit
  •  16GB RAM
  •  8GB VRAM
  •  70GB SSD

Cyberpunk 2077 Recommended PC: 1080 P Ray Tracing (Medium)

While 4K ultra pushes up the GPU ladder, turning on RT setting boosts the requirements further on the GPU front. The medium ray tracing setting suns at 1080p with DLSS enabled. Here are the system requirements for 1080p Medium Ray Tracing target.

Cyberpunk 2077: Here Are PC Requirements to Play in High and Ultra Quality
  •  Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
  •  RX 6800 or RTX 2060
  •  Windows 10 64-bit
  •  16GB RAM
  •  6GB VRAM
  •  70GB SSD storage

Cyberpunk 2077 Recommended PC: 1440p Ultra Ray Tracing

Targeting 1440p ultra ray tracing further increases the GPU requirements, as the RTX 3070 now becomes the primary recommendation likely with DLSS enabled. To enable RT at 1440p, the best option will be the RTX 3070 and perhaps the RX 6800 XT.

  •  Intel Core i7-6700 orAMD Ryzen 5 3600
  •  RX 6800 XT or RTX 3070
  •  Windows 10 64-bit
  •  16GB RAM
  •  8GB VRAM
  •  70GB SSD storage

This game target also required higher CPU with at least an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel i7-6700, although the former could certainly pull up a great performance.

Finally, only the RTX 3080 or the more expensive RTX 3090 could support the 4K ultra RT settings. While the required CPU is the same as 1440p RT Ultra and VRAM is increased to 10GB. However, it is not clear whether this could provide 60 fps using DLSS balanced, DLSS quality, or DLSS performance.

  •  Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
  •  RTX 3080 orRTX 3090
  •  Windows 10 64-bit
  •  16GB RAM
  •  10GB VRAM
  •  70GB SSD storage
