"Cyberpunk 2077" was recently released last December 10, and people are already enjoying its gameplay, with the search for specific items, including one of the most iconic melee weapon called the Mantis Blade is seen since 2012. The retractable melee weapon for cybernetic enhancements is one of the earliest seen weapons since the game's teaser almost eight years ago.

CD Projekt Red's most anticipated eight years in the making title, "Cyberpunk 2077," is now released, and guides are flooding all over the internet, with specific items and early game upgrades now sought by mass gamers. However, one thing stands out, and it is not even that advanced compared to other equipment in the game.

The famous "Mantis Blades," which are retractable and can hide within a character's forearms, resembling the shape and angle of the praying mantis, is piling up on the searches for the game. The blades are one of the most associated weapons to "Cyberpunk 2077" when the game is mentioned in talks or inquiries.

Not only is it popular, but the Mantis Blades are also one of the most OP (overpowered) weapons in the game, also dealing critical damage and massive HP (health point) cuts to enemies. Despite its popularity and seemingly effortless use, the blades require users' specific skills and flexibility.

According to PC Games N, there are specific skill builds and pairings for the melee weapons, incredibly sharp blades in the game. These cutting-edge weapons deal more physical damages than ranged weapons, including guns and high-tech smart auto-locking armaments, part of the famous "Tools of Destruction."

'Cyberpunk 2077': Where to Find and Get Mantis Blades

Getting and finding locations for the Mantis Blades is relatively easy in the game. Players would only need to look for the nearest "ripperdoc," also known as the Mad Doctor, that installs cybernetic upgrades and mods to the character's arms slot.

The game is rated M for Mature Audience, featuring all gore and highly sexual scenes, and seeing the ripper doc certainly follows up in the ESRB rating. Mantis Blades are a worthy addition to the arms slot. However, it would replace current arm mods and could only be used independently, not applicable with other arm mods.

Moreover, the ripper doc is charging players a massive 20 "Cyberpunk 2077" street credit and 15,350 eurodollars, which are relatively hard to save and collect. The grind for one of the most iconic melee weapons in the game is real, but topping up real-world money for in-game currency is also possible if the Mantis Blades are one's priorities.

'Cyberpunk 2077' Skills: What's Needed to Upgrade for Best Use of Mantis Blades

There are specific skill sets and build for the optimal use of your character's ability in the game. The Mantis Blades have a particular build for better service and heavier damage to deal on enemies, particularly with a character's flexibility and reflexes.

It is quite noting that the Mantis Blades closely resemble assassin-like qualities when using, so players would need to work on their attack speed, movement speed, passive evasion, critical chance, and bleed damage.
