The Cayo Perico Heist recently went live on December 15 on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The new "Grand Theft Auto Online" update rolled out various points of interest (POI) to search across the new map.
While players may choose to explore straight into the heist right after the introduction on the island, they may also grab all POIs to get more opportunities and options to snatch great loot. While most of these items are not really required, we have included in this GTA online guide all Cayo Perico Heist points of interest locations as specified in a YouTube video published by Gamers Heroes.
GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist Points of interest Locations
The Cayo Perico Heist list five points of interest including a control tower, power station, supply truck, guard clothes, grappling equipment, and bolt cutters. The first three items are located nearby each other while you would need to find four bolt cutters, guard clothes, and grappling equipment spread across the island. Check out where to find them and don't forget to take a photograph once you discover POI.
Control Tower
After landing on the island, the control tower is easily visible as it is located on the airport. Grab your phone and take a picture. You can use the control tower to disable air defenses
Power station
As you leave the airport, you will find the power station nearby. It is located at the end of a small road on the side below the landing strip.
Supply Truck
A truck is parked in between the huts and small houses. Simply take a photo to register the point of interest.
Bolt Cutters
Four bolt cutters are randomly spread in the new heist and their locations are slightly different for each player. If you are having difficulty finding the item, you may take photographs of the area as the bolt cutters does not be completely visible to work. So even if you are standing 50, to 100m away, it will work.
Clue: the bolt cutters always spawn near a red toolbox. Gamers Heroes spotted the cutters on a table in workshop at the airport, on top of plywood near a tower, and along the canal. Other players also found the cutters in the wheat fields and near a building.
Grappling equipment
Grappling Hooks are the hardest to find Point of Interest. Gamers Heroes spotted two of these within huge bags with ropes connected to them.
One is located underneath a sniper tower while the other is under the stairs of a lighthouse. There is also a grappling hook found on the ground near the crane as well as on the broker boats on the airfields. You may also take a car back to the airport at the end of the runway, by the docks, and on wheat fields.
Guard clothing
Guard Clothing is also spawned in random locations. Some items are located in same area, so it is better to look around whenever you find a Points of Interest. The crate with clothes inside looks the same for the other locations.
After finding the supply truck, you will immediately locate the guard clothing. There is also a crate of guard clothing under a sniper tower, at the end of a dock, in the warehouses, and even on the airfields. You may also check the buildings and you might be lucky to find one and be careful not to get caught.
Again, the locations are different for each player, but this could help you find these items easily. Don't forget to photograph the items, even while standing up to 100m away.
