As the pandemic razed the world and killed over 1.6 million people, governments are prompted to order quarantines and lockdowns here and there. With nothing else to do, streamers attracted more viewers and their numbers continues to soar.

"Call of Duty: Warzone" Twitch Streamer NICKMERCS who got watch time of more than 53 million hours topped the Most Watched Streamers 2020 list, according to esports site Unikrn. Dr. Disrespect still made it on Top 10, despite a rough year and a permanent ban from the platform.

Most Watched 'Call of Duty: Warzone' Twitch Streamers 2020

As of November 12, Unikrn ranked the data based on Twitch viewership on who got the highest number to be crowned as 2020's "Call Of Duty: Warzone" streaming king.

As mentioned earlier, NICKMERCS topped the list as he was watched for more than 53 million hours while playing Warzone. He also got 931,494 additional followers after streaming "Call of Duty," bringing his total number of followers to 4,709,625.

"NICKMERCS remains the king of Call of Duty streaming after picking up nearly one million Twitch followers in 2020 from his Warzone content," a Unikrn spokesperson told European Gaming. The spokesperson also noted that NICKMERCS is now the "go-to guy for updates and hacks," which makes his content relevant and engaging to his viewers.

Back in June, NICKMERCS only ranked 6th in Unikrn's most watched list. At that time, he got more than 26.8 million watch time. NICKMERCS considered as one of the best Fortnite streamers and his popularity soared even further after rapper Drake has allowed him to use his music during his streams.

In far second is TimTheTatMan with 25,117,905 of watch time for his Warzone streams. With 453,425 additional followers, his total following is now at 5,840,907. Symfuhny and Swagg respectively ranked third and fourth with 20 million viewing hours after they got over 700,000 new followers from streaming Warzone for 2020.

Surprisingly, Tfue only managed to reach the 5th spot with over 14 million hours despite having 9.6 million followers, the second highest Twitch following.

Dr. Disrespect ranked 8th amid permanent Twitch ban

Meanwhile, what got people's attention is how Dr. Disrespect still made it to top 8 even after he was permanently got banned from Twitch in June. Although the doctor is now streaming on YouTube, he still managed to gain more than 12.2 million of viewing ours.

Back in June, Twitch banned Dr. Disrespect or Guy Beahm in real life for allegedly violating its community guidelines. This forced the streamer to move to YouTube.

However, according to The Verge, the Twitch ban was causing Dr. Disrespect anxiety attacks. "My anxiety levels are something that comes in these huge waves," Dr. Disrespect said in one of his YouTube streams adding that he is "having a hard time dealing with it."

Perhaps he will still be able to return to Twitch just like Ninja. "If he ever does make a triumphant return to Twitch like Ninja has, we could see the Doc competing with NICKMERCS for next year's crown," the Unikrn spokesperson noted.

Meanwhile, rounding up the top 10 Most Watched 'Call of Duty: Warzone' Twitch Streamers 2020 are Teepee and Huskers with more than 12 million hours as well as Cloakzy and MontanaBlack88 who both got over10 million watch time.
