If you love playing video games while eating fried chicken, then this new console is the perfect one for you. Kentucky Fried Chicken, also known as KFC, is not just into the food business anymore.

Just like Microsoft and Sony, KFC has now launched a gaming console.

KFConsole's built-in chicken chamber

The KFC console, now affectionately named KFConsole, is a one-of-a-kind gaming console as it has a built-in chicken chamber. You can no play video games while eating delicious, hot and juicy chicken at the same time, according to KFC Gaming's official Twitter account.

The console can handle 4K 120fps gaming. Even though it is a product from a fast-food brand, the components of the console that power the gaming-aspect are all designed by Cooler Master.

KFConsole uses a custom chassis, a Cooler Master NC100 chassis based on Intel Nuc 9 Extreme Compute Element. It comes with a swappable GPU chamber and it also uses a 9th Gen Intel Core i9 processor. As for its graphics card, KFC has partnered up with Asus to make a GPU that is compact and powerful.

The company has also partnered with Seagate and has a 2TB SSD based storage solution with Seagate BarraCuda SSDs, thus offering the best game load times and the best OS loading time, according to TechRadar.

Gaming capabilities

The KFConsole is capable of handling real-time ray-tracing. It can support VR gaming and it can also offer up to 240fps gaming on select titles at 4K resolution, which is pretty impressive.

As for its price and availability, there is still no information about them. This is a promotional product of KFC and it is highly likely that the company would produce it as a limited edition console.

No matter what the performance of the console ends up being, it will be the first and probably only video game player with a built-in chicken warmer.

People are now wondering if that is how Cooler Master and KFC will get around the cooling issues of the run-hot tech in this rig, it remains to be seen whether you need chicken in the chamber or not.

At first there was no mention of a disc drive in the console, but a later update showed that it has a cross-platform capability and the new video of the console zoomed in on an apparent disc drive.

However, either that has disappeared in the actual making of the console since the pictures don't show a disc drive, or there will be a disc version and a digital version of the gaming console.

Regardless of whether or not the company will release two versions, neither Cooler Master nor KFC has mentioned anything about a disc drive. There is no brand, name or spec even added in its official article release.

The KFConsole also has a lot of swappable components that gives the brand platform a leg up. The rumored price of the console is around $2,000, but that is just a figure guess by industry experts as the console could be a limited release.

KFC Controller

On Twitter, some users are sharing images of a chicken with buttons to resemble a controller. Others are asking if there are plans to release a controller as well like Twitter user @KyoraXi who asked, "When can we expect to see a controller design for the KFConsole? Or is it actually a prebuilt PC?"

There is no mention about any controller either, it could be a collector's item device more than a regular console that is intended to be used often like their previous release.

Back in October, a KFC-edition Xbox Series X controller was released for its giveaway. However, this controller was dubbed "hideous" and received negative feedback from gamers because of how it looks like. Toms Guide called the KFC themed special edition controller "horrific-looking."

However, many users are actually concerned about eating chicken while playing which may mean putting grease on the controller.
