"Rust" has been around the gaming industry since 2013 and nearly died out, but this year, a surge of OfflineTV and friends server players have gathered which revived the game, and now has partnered with Twitch for giveaways. The exclusive items would be part of the content creator's Twitch streams for Rust freebies drops led by gamers like xQc, Shroud, Pokimane, Myth, etc.

It is a new year and new beginning for "Rust" and Facepunch Studios as a popularity surge of the multiplayer-only survival game trended towards the end of 2020 and kicking off 2021. Now, servers are reset twice, giving players a chance for a new and refreshed game to enjoy during the surge of the coronavirus's extended lockdown and restrictions.

Currently, there are two modes present in the new servers of Facepunch Studios' "Rust," and both are still featuring the popular multiplayer combat survival game which is highly rated on Steam (9 out of 10 Steam Rating). Now, the two servers feature a PvP combat mode (player versus player) or a hardcore version of its classic RP mode (roleplaying mode).

Twitch Rust Drops: How to Get Freebies from Streamer-exclusives

According to Dexerto, the process of getting the "Rust" drops are fairly simple and easily achievable, provided that users have an existing Steam and "Rust" account, along with a Twitch account. Since this is an online game, there is a need for a stable internet connection for long hours, as it requires an extended time of streaming to get lucky items.

Also, there are two types of rewards that may be received from Twitch "Rust" drops and their streamer collaboration and the first involves tuning in to different content creators for lucky freebies; while the second needs to accumulate long hours of watching for a guaranteed reward.

Freebies from Influencers

• 1st: Link Steam account to Twitch via Connections
• 2nd: Head on to the "Rust" category for the available Twitch streams
• 3rd: Select any streamer that has the tag "Drops Enabled" on their channels, tags, etc.
• 4th: Watch the stream for at least two to four hours to get the exclusive codes
• 5th: Watch different streamers until receiving the desired prize

Game Rewards for Streaming

• Stream any Content Creator with the "Drops Enabled" tag on their video, channel, or tags
• Sofa - two hours (2) worth of streaming
• Red Industrial Door - four (4) hours worth of streaming

There are various rewards and freebies that await gamers and they include exclusive shirts, hoodies, weapon skins, garage door skins, etc. The influencers that are joining the "Drops Enabled" streaming for "Rust" includes xQc, Shroud, Pokimane, Myth, LilyPichu, Ludwig, AuronoPlay, Skyunno, and JakeSepticEye.

 Redeeming stream drops can only be done until Thursday, January 14.
