In one of the most stunning surprises of the year, RTFKT (Artifact Studios) and hardware manufacturer NZXT have announced their collaboration, and the fruit of the partnership is a glorious, albeit confusing, gaming PC in sneaker form.

The RTX 3080-powered PC shoes was first teased on Twitter.

NZXT and RTFKT Collaboration

Both NZXT and RTFKT are well-known in the gaming industry, with the former a popular hardware manufacturer of PC gaming components, cases, and accessories, while the latter creates "virtual and physical next-gen collectible sneakers for the best esports, gaming, and entertainment celebrities."

The gaming PC sneakers was initially teased on Twitter, and soon enough, RTFKT officially announced the collaboration between the two companies.

"Empowering RTFKT and our creator community to create the future of fashion and collectibles, powering our vision, community and crazy ideas with their awesome builds and love of gaming," the company posted on their Twitter account.

Can You Wear These Gaming PC Sneakers?

The product of the collaboration seems to be confusing tons of people--will they be able to wear the sneakers?

Based on the image teased by the company, it doesn't seem like anyone will be walking with those PC sneakers on anytime soon, so while the style is something you'd definitely want to wear, it can only sit on your desk.

Furthermore, the unique gaming PC is powered by Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, according to PCGamer, so you really don't want to stomp around with some expensive hardware on your feet.

Twitter Error

Although the thought of being able to actually wear the sneakers does seem to entertain a lot of people, like for AusGamers, it seems like a good idea to use Nvidia's cutting edge cooling technology to cool your own feet.

Can it Run Various PC Games?

So, will this unique gaming PC actually run the latest games, such as "Cyberpunk 2077," "Crysis Remastered," or "Assassin's Creed: Valhalla?"

Since the PC has some great GPU, it may actually provide a great gaming experience, but until it hits the market and someone can use and review it, we'll never know how it performs and if its unique design can bring something to the table other than looking great.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 remains to be one of the most powerful GPUs these days in terms of gaming, so it won't be surprising if the PC sneakers can run some of the heaviest PC games today.

Other specs of the gaming PC sneakers are also yet to be announced.

Will it Launch?

Of course, Twitter folks are already asking RTFKT and NZXT when the RTX 3080 gaming PC sneakers will be out, but it's uncertain whether the PC sneakers will actually be released to the public, although some speculate that it will become a limited run.

However, other people think the gaming PC shoes may remain a cool prototype that once took the internet by storm--but if it indeed becomes available in the market, it's pretty sure to become a cool collectible that actually works.

But practically, the replies to the Twitter post is divided: some wants to wear the shoes, while others want to know if it's a fully functional PC.

Both companies are yet to provide additional details about the PC gaming sneakers.
