Microsoft has previously introduced the Your Phone Windows app which is a good way for users to be able to bridge both PCs and mobile but the reportedly best feature that the app offers are currently only exclusive to just Samsung phones. LG has recently decided to release something that can be seen as slightly similar, which is quite close to the Dell Mobile Connect.

According to an article by Slashgear, there are still a number of different phones out in the market aside from just Samsung but Microsoft's app is only limited to this. With Dell also having its own version, the Dell Mobile Connect, the new app by LG could apparently offer the same features or maybe something slightly better.
Although Microsoft in itself already provides the given Your Phone app as some sort of standard part of their OS, the Windows 10, that still hasn't stopped other manufacturers from rolling out their own app. For quite a few years, Dell has also provided its very own "Dell Mobile Connect" application which is capable of mirroring Android phones on the desktop or even access a number of different phone functions without needing to pick up the physical phone itself.

The Dell Mobile Connect, however, is no longer exclusive to just Dell computers. The app now reportedly supports other phone brands even those not using Android like iPhones. However, using Apple products with this particular app only provides limited functionality.
It was recently revealed that LG has finally enlisted the services of a particular Screenovate Technologies, the developers behind Dell Mobile Connect, in order to create something known as the Virtoo by LG. What Dell Mobile Connect can do, users can expect that Virtoo can also mostly do as well.

Virtoo for Android and iOS
The app description is said to be pretty sparse but apparently, it can even make calls, send messages, and even mirror at least a simple LG Android phone's screen. The official Windows 10 app page still doesn't go into deep detail regarding the compatible models as well. There is a clearer description on the App Store by Apple.
It was also noted that as of the moment, people can only presume that the upcoming Virtoo by LG for the Windows operating system should only be compatible with LG PCs just like the LG Gram. The iPhone app, on the other hand, is slightly more telling since it requires users to have the iOS 11 or later versions of the operating system.
Unfortunately, the iPhone app's features are still a bit less impressive being able to cover only messages and contacts. At the moment, though, there are still a lot of questions regarding the Virtoo by LG in comparison to Microsoft's very own Your Phone, which is said to offer only the basics. Of course, this depends on what Screenovate will be able to do with this app like add additional features or more.
