Right now, some marketing companies are choosing to spend their budget on Android advertising since they claimed that Apple's iOS 14 App Tracking Transparency feature is uncertain.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - JUNE 11: Apple CEO Tim Cook delivers the keynote address at the Apple 2012 World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) at Moscone West on June 11, 2012 in San Francisco, California. Apple unveiled a slew of new hardware and software updates at the company's annual developer conference which runs through June 15.

Before Apple's new App Tracking Transparency even arrives in iOS 14.5, marketing firms and advertisers are already identifying how much the new privacy feature will change their income. According to Apple Insider's latest report, some of them are already moving into Android temporarily.

Why ad companies are choosing Android over iOS

They are currently doing this so that they can see the real-world impact of the new privacy update. Ad companies claim that the costs will rise. However, they are not sure if their income will also go up.

"Everyone is nervous about the future and how the performance of their advertising is going to take a hit whenever Apple's changes do arrive," said Brian Karas, Playbook Media's staff, via Apple Insider.

Is iOS still better than Android system?

If you will consider the marketing and ad companies, then the iOS system is really getting worse since Apple's new security updates will not allow them to make personalized ads. However, if you will consider the smartphone users, then iOS 14 is still a better system compared to the latest Android Software, as reported by Android Authority. Here are some of the reasons why iOS 14 is still more user-friendly compared to the Android system;

  • iOS is super simple to use
  • iOS has better security features
  • iOS is generally faster and smoother
  • iOS has timely updates
  • iOS has better resale value
