"Twitter is working on Undo Send timer for tweets," said Wong via her official Twitter account.

As of the moment, her latest tweet was able to generate more than 4,000 likes, 600 quote tweets, and 800 retweets. Some of the people in the comment section are confused about the app's upcoming feature.

One of the commentators asked if the new undo send button will prevent other users from seeing your tweet until the feature's loading screen is complete. On the other hand, some of them are not really amazed by the popular social media platform's new capability.

"I don't see why people are getting excited here... it's not like an email where you can't delete it after sending it, you still can, so really it's just a faster way of quickly deleting your tweet but not adding any functionality," said @ShadowMaker00 in the comment section.

Possible look at Twitter's new undo send button

Based on Wong's latest tweet, the new feature will have a loading bar that notifies people if their tweet has been deleted. Its animation is different from other social media platforms since its loading time starts from your smartphone's right side.

It might seem a bit confusing, but the GIF shows that your tweet will only be posted once the timer runs out. If you are not satisfied with your post, all you need to do is click the undo button to prevent it from appearing on your timeline.

On the other hand, it is really useful since it will not delete your tweet. It will just unsend it, and the whole text will still be there as a draft. Right now, Twitter users don't have any option but to delete their tweets. They also need to retype the whole thing all over again once they erase it.

Will it be free?

According to The Verge's latest report, Twitter's upcoming feature is rumored to be a part of a paid subscription. On the other hand, previous speculations claimed that it will not be the edit button that most of the users are requesting from the social media platform. You can click here for more details.
