The Twitter user @UniverseIce, which currently has more than 250,000 followers, leaked a video to show how fast you can unlock Meizu 18 using its under-screen fingerprint sensor. In the video, the individual using Meizu 18 was able to unlock the device 15 times in less than 10 seconds. This means that this smartphone's under-display fingerprint sensor works in less than a second.

Remember, the footage began with a slight delay before the smartphone's owner starts using the under-screen fingerprint sensor.

"This is the fastest under-screen fingerprint I have ever experienced, faster than S21," claimed the popular smartphone leaker via his official Twitter account.

As of the moment, the latest tweet generated more than 250 retweets, 3,500 likes, and 50 quote tweets.

How efficient is Meizu 18's fingerprint sensor?

Although the Meizu 18 can unlock itself quicker than any smartphone brand, some users claim that it has some downsides. This includes unlocking the device even when the user is using an unregistered finger. One of the Twitter post commentators said that you can still unlock Meizu 18 using other fingers.

This is a serious case since anyone can open your device and acquire sensitive info, including banking details. Other Twitter users added that the security system of Meizu 18 is not that efficient compared to other smartphones.

On the other hand, some people were amazed by the device's performance. Some of them are even asking if Meizu 18's under-screen fingerprint sensor is optic.

Is it better than Samsung Galaxy S21?

Right now, it is hard to conclude that Meizu 18's under-screen fingerprint sensor is better than the one offered by Galaxy S21 since people are not only looking for fast unlocking features, they are also looking for a more accurate security system.
