Over the past two days, GeorgeNotFound, whose real name is George Henry Davidson, a Twitch streamer who regularly plays "Minecraft," got banned for a strange reason.

While he was also punished in TikTok last February, the recent ban just marked him as one of the most popular game streamers who received a red card due to his violations in the said platform.

In a report by DualShockers, just last Mar. 13 and 14, GeorgeNotFound's alternate account took a stroll in the Twitch handbook, and fans have really no idea how that happened suddenly.

It started on Mar. 13, when Davidson's alternate account was slapped by the game streaming platform with a hefty sanction. The name of his second account is ThisIsGeorgeNotFound, and Twitch said that it banned the 24-year-old streamer due to his use of an inappropriate username.

For that sole reason, no one could ever think of why his alternate account was banned, given that it did not mention any vulgar words. The addition of "This" to his alternate username was not an issue either, that's why his followers seemed confused about Twitch's decision to suspend his account.

In line with this, Twitch initially said the ban's effect is "indefinite," but later, his account reverted to normal. The game streaming platform decided to remove the penalty.

On Sunday, Mar.14, GeorgeNotFound was banned again, and it was now the second time he received such suspension, and just a day after he received this kind of punishment from his alternate account.

He had no clue how the same treatment got him after a day, as he became bewildered about the unfortunate suspension of his account. According to his tweet, he received another ban again, but at this time, he shared the possible reason why Twitch had banned him.

GeorgeNotFound noted that why he was banned was because his username seemed to be "insulting" another user. It was also said that it could have fallen to the category of threat posed to another user.

It was also possible that his alternate name sparked the promotion of self-harm, where instances in the form of malice such as messaging someone to die have been identified.

The Ban Could Be a Mistake Made by the Platform

Talkesport reported that GeorgeNotFound was reactivated after a few hours. It seems that Twitch could have mistakenly taken into consideration of the sanction.

Most likely, what it detected was wrong since the streamer admitted that he did not violate any rules in connection to the Twitch community guidelines.

The responsibility is surely pointed to Twitch, and this could mean that the platform could impose a better judgment for possible violations in the future - an effective way to filter them correctly.

Who is GeorgeNotFound

Like other game streamers, the Twitch platform gave Davidson leverage to play and cast his particular game "Minecraft." Now, with over 6.51 million subscribers on YouTube, it is clear that he has already established a strong community that grew fond of viewing his live stream.

In Twitch, he already garnered more than 2.79 million followers.
