The famed "Teslaquila" joke of Elon Musk from almost three years ago was resurrected last year, in the form of a legitimate lightning-shaped bottle of liquor that sells for $250 on Tesla's website. However, it is now called the "Tesla Tequila" (and not the portmanteau word by the CEO), which immediately sold out once it dropped on its website.
On Monday, March 15, the Tesla Tequila is out of stock from the online stores of Tesla, and there are no announcements or advice from the company that hints of any restock or availability of the liquor by the company. Since its release in early November last year, it has generated a massive buzz where people are mostly interested in the liquor created by Tesla.
Despite Tequila originating from pre-colonial Mexico, Tesla's golden liquor is produced by Nosotros Tequila and is fulfilled by Speakeasy Co., meaning that it did not distill and produced the Tesla-branded liquor. Moreover, The Tequila by Tesla is bottled on a special lightning-shaped or "Z" bottle that has a stand with it per package.
Tesla Tequila Immediately Sells Out After Restock
Sad news for Tequila lovers and Tesla fans, the company's self-named and branded golden liquor is now out of stock, which immediately occurred after its website restocked the Tequila for this month alone. According to Tesla, these bottles that were sold now are going to be shipped come April, and not immediately as it was purchased.
This is only the second batch or instance that Tesla Tequila sold via the company's online store, particularly after its initial release and debut to the public. The first time happened on its release date last November and after that, the next was earlier this week. The liquor production and selling have stopped, being a mystery for the public and searching for the product.
That event led to its immediate sell-out and demand as it dropped, as people were clamoring for the lightning bottle and liquor from the clean energy company which costs $250. Sadly, people would have to wait for the next restock of the Tesla Tequila for no exact dates of restocking, as its previous stock came from almost four months ago.
Where to Buy Tesla Tequila Alternatives?
If people want an alternative to the Tesla Tequila to get their liquor fix and taste the same blend of liquid gold that is 100% de agave tequila Anejo, there are alternatives in the market. On Nosostros' Website, the same colored Tequila bottle only sells for $45, and it could be a suitable replacement for the fast-selling Tesla Tequila temporarily if users want the lightning bottle from the company.

The bottle of the Tesla Tequila is the collectible one, especially as people were selling the finished bottle for thousands of dollars, hence its demand.
