"Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" players will soon be able to enjoy a free double XP boost. The remaining weeks of March are expected to bring new and exciting updates that the popular shooting title's fans will surely enjoy.

According to GameRant's latest report, these could include the most-awaited Shadowhunter Crossbow, which was accidentally released and then removed from the shop, as well as other new modes in the game.

On the other hand, Treyarch also revealed that there would be Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP. These new boosts are expected to start on Friday, Mar. 26, at exactly 10:00 a.m. PT.

"Get ready for next week's mid-season update with 2XP, 2WXP, and 2X Battle Pass XP all weekend long, starting at 10 a.m. PT Friday, March 26!" said Treyarch Studios via its official Twitter account.

The game publisher's latest post currently has more than 9,200 likes, 130 quote tweets, and 970 retweets. The fans in the comment section are really excited about the XP boosts that will soon arrive in the game.

Double XP's run time and other details

PCGamer reported that the upcoming Double XP boosts would start in Mar. 16 and end on Mar. 29, at exactly 10:00 a.m. PDT. This is the game's method of running the promotion to build excitement ahead of the upcoming mid-season of "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War."

Once the new season is released, there could be a new map called the Sanitorium Fireteam map, which is specifically developed for the current "Outbreak Zombies" mode.

Although "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" is continuously receiving new updates and changes that certainly improve the gaming experience of its fans, there are also some unfair players that are becoming more rampant than ever. 

Analysts and other experts said that if you want to enjoy the upcoming Double XP offers, the players should avoid those who are using the wallhack glitch, which has appeared recently in the game.
