Blockchain and Bitcoin have been around for almost a decade now and are finally being taken seriously by institutional investors and banks. NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) are the blockchain solution for the art and collectibles world because unlike traditional pieces it makes it impossible to create fakes. Each NFT is guaranteed to be one of a kind. These NFTs can be anything digital to include drawings, music, images, or fine art.

NFTs made a big splash in the sports world when Patrick Mahomes sold his NFT collection at an auction for $3.7 million dollars. Superbowl champ, Rob Gronkowski, sold his first NFT for $1.6 million on the OpenSea marketplace. This trend has moved far beyond sports with musicians such as Snoop Doog, Lionel Ritchie, and Boy George offering NFT content.

Of course, all of this activity has attracted the attention of movers and shakers in the sports world. One major player in this arena is Leverage Game Media, a social media sports network that runs a number of channels on Instagram from @Leverage that produces viral advertising campaigns for tier one brands interested in reaching a Millenial or Gen Z audience. They own and operate some of the most highly engaged, sports-focused communities on social media with over 1 billion views a month and 5 million followers who are 95% Millennials and Gen Z.

Leverage Game Media is backed by some of the biggest names in the sports industry to include Mark Cuban and co-founders Jason Falovitch (@jf) and Aaron Avruskin. Mark Cuban is an American entrepreneur, television personality, media proprietor, and investor is best known for his roles as one of the sharks on the TV show Shark Tank and as the high-profile owner of the Dallas Mavericks.

Jason Falovitch is a Canadian-born sports media entrepreneur with a high flying career in the sports industry. At the age of just 27, he found himself managing the business career of former 5x heavyweight champ Evander Holyfield from negotiating TV and film deals to collaborating with house hold names. He even reunited Evander Holyfield with Mike Tyson for their first informal encounter since the infamous "ear-biting" incident in 1997. After managing the careers of some of the world's most famous athletes, Jason launched PlayLine.com in 2017 with his partners Aaron Avruskin, former UFC champ Michael Bisping and former 2x all star Roy Hibbert. PlayLine products offer fans the chance to win multiple million dollar prizes daily. With his expertise in the sports industry and marketing, it rapidly grew to be the largest sports lottery in the world. This caught the attention of professional athletes, media partners, investors, and Mark Cuban. Soon they joined forces to launch Leverage Game Media.

Today, @Leverage is taking the lead in NFTs by building a channel just for these new collectibles @NFT. Here they share the latest trends and news around NFTs that change on an hourly and sometimes even minute basis. The engagement has grown exponentially since big stars in the sports world have made headlines with NFTs and this is just the beginning.
