Trend Micro Incorporated, the world's leader in enterprise data security, welcomes its new country manager for India and SAARC, Vijendra Katiyar.
As the country manager, Katiyar will be leading the company's operations in India and in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), with focus on steering both customer and business growth in the region. He will also oversee the management of Trend Micro and increase its overall market share across India. Vijendra Katiyar is also expected to strengthen engagement with the company's channel partners to "help deepen customer engagement and success."

The Mumbai-based visionary Vijendra Katiyar, in a company press release, has "had a long and successful journey with Trend Micro." As a part of the Trend Micro family for nine years - starting in 2012 - Katiyar has held various positions in the organization, including being a Regional Account Manager to being its National Sales Manager for India & SAARC. He is also credited as among the people that spearheaded the company's mandate of growing its cloud security business.
Prior to his latest assignment, Katiyar served Trend Micro as its Director - Enterprise Business, India & SAARC. He has proven himself capable of driving strategic and informed business decisions aided by effective tools and processes which translated into a 100% revenue growth for Trend Micro for the last four years.
Overall, his experience spans a wide range, covering sales to cybersecurity thought leadership, to technical consulting for various industries. As Trend Micro stands behind Vijendra Katiyar and his impressive track record, customers of the global cybersecurity leader can expect the same level of service and commitment that Trend has become known for.
Vijendra Katiyar has a master's degree in business IT from RMIT University in Australia and got his BE in electronics and telecommunication from Bharati Vidyapeeth University in India.
