Niantic, the developer of "Pokemon GO," confirmed that once the new Community Day arrives, players can go to the streets during special spotlight hours every Tuesday evening.

According to PokemonGO Hub's latest report, some Pokeminers claimed that the event could feature shiny Swablu and Altaria. This information was based on their special research tasks in network traffic.

Aside from these two new Pokemon types, the Pokeminers also found some badges for the special event in Japan. Here's what the exact data contains:

• TEXT: A ticket to access the "Cotton-Winged Bird" Special Research from May 15, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. to May 15, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. local time, wherever you are. Details can be found in the in-game News. YOU MUST PLAY DURING THE SPECIFIED TIME TO RECEIVE ALL THE SPECIAL EVENT BONUSES.
• RESOURCE ID: spawn_swablu TEXT: More Swablu are appearing in the wild

On the other hand, the Pokeminers revealed that the Shiny Swablu will provide five photobombs in the user's "Pokemon GO" Snapshot.

'Pokemon GO' May Community Day Release Date 

Screen Rant confirmed that the upcoming "Pokemon GO" May Community Day 2021 will arrive on May 15 at exactly 11:00 AM, local time. This event is expected to end by 5:00 PM, local time. 

Once it arrives, Pokemon trainers can expect different Pokemon spotlight every hour. This will allow the game to have more Pokemon species in the wild during the event. Right now, the details leaked are still limited. 

However, the game's developer confirmed that it will release further information as the actual date of the upcoming game event nears. As of the moment, all you need to do is sit, relax, and wait for Niantic's actual announcements.
