Macrumors reported that the company's short note said that those who purchased the AppleCare Protection Plan shall be entitled to accept a perk of a three-year coverage which will be effective at the start of the transaction.

The previous coverage only tackled a two-year extension through the select plan. This includes the necessary hardware service options and technical support from the company.

Moreover, what the customers should know is that the accidental damage will be excluded in the latest plan of Apple. Once a customer buys the standard AppleCare plan, the extension will automatically begin. It is free of charge as well.

The exact email reads:

Your AppleCare Protection Plan for Apple TV now provides (instead of two years) technical support and additional hardware service options from your Apple TV purchase date.

We are extending your plan an additional year at no charge to you. You don't have to do anything.

What the Cupertino giant announced today was a huge leap for the promotion of AppleCare+ for Apple TV which happened in the last two weeks. In addition, the newly-modeled Apple TV 4K featuring its Color-Balance experience also arrived last month.

Further Details About AppleCare+ Products

Apple Insider reported that the company is committed to giving its full support to its customers like in the previous AppleCare+ products. The usual extension of the warranty plan to one year and 90 days has become a game-changer through a three-year add-on.

Furthermore, if you have bought the plan, you will receive up to two incidents of accidental damage every 12 months. The additional tax will be put plus the $15 costing through each claim since the technical support is the priority access in this package.

For the main unit of AppleCare, the Apple TV HD and the Apple TV 4K will amount to $29. They would come with a power cord and a Siri remote.

When you want to buy a new device within 60 days, you can avail of Apple's service by accessing the official website of the company. You can also directly contact the firm through the telephone and its Apple Store.

There will also be a recurring fee available every month.
