Useless tech is all around us, and they can easily make us wonder, "what's the point?" But then again, some people have a lot of time on their hands. And with that much time, they can think of almost anything.

Anything means anything, meaning you'll find some inventions which are so hilariously useless, they're funny without even trying. Now, it's not uncommon for some inventions to fail after initially starting out strong, like the ones in this list made by Informi.

But the ones on this list, however, are an entirely different breed. And you'll see why.

Useless Tech Galore

There is a certain Instagram page called Useless Inventions, which is run by a guy named Matt Bennedetto. On his page, Bennedetto showcases a lot of hilariously useless tech that makes you just scream, "WHY?!"

These things lie on the spectrum of "so bad, it's good," and it's no surprise that a lot of people may actually want them to be commercially available! So without further ado, here are some of the most interestingly useless inventions posted on his page.

Cruise n' Breeze No Air Conditioning

Perhaps the most pointless out of any useless tech out there is this one: the Cruise n' Breeze No Air Conditioning device. It's basically a tube whose one end you stick out the window of your car, and the other end remains inside. It draws in fresh air from the outside and into the car, so you'll never need air conditioning again.

AirSticks

Just imagine a typical pair of Apple AirPods. Then add a chopstick to the end of each one. And voila! You got yourself a pair of AirSticks, which are far more difficult to lose than traditional AirPods, and are perfect for eating some hot ramen on a cold day. Or you could also use them for eating sushi. Either way, they're the perfect accessory to pair with your AirPods!

Front2Back Case

Foldable phones are quite popular these days, with big-name smartphone makers such as Apple and Samsung coming out with their own folding phone designs. But you don't have the budget to buy that! So, why not an alternative, then?

With the Fold2Back phone case, you can get most of the benefits of a foldable phone. They say there's more screen (and thus improved utility) on a foldable phone, so why not just use two separate phones in one case? They say a foldable phone is more technologically advanced and powerful, but how about two different sets of high-end mobile specs in one?

Hoverbrella

Let's be honest: holding up an umbrella, whether it's hot out or it's raining, can be a pain. As such, why not make the umbrella float? In comes the aptly named Hoverbrella: a hands-free umbrella that follows you wherever you go!

The Hoverbrella works by attaching a basic umbrella to a small drone, which then hovers above your head. Now, you can enjoy a sunny or rainy day without having to worry about holding an umbrella up.

SunShaders

The heat of the sun can be extremely intense, and sometimes even the darkest sunglasses can't keep up. There's a simple solution to that: SunShaders, which are, quite frankly, roll-down shaders for your sunglasses. When your shades need shades, then this is the way to go.
