The new version of the game is getting more popular than ever since "Tetris" is one of the most iconic titles. Various versions were released on Facebook and other platforms. There are even apps offering the building block style of "Tetris." 

"That's right, Tetris fans, the wait is almost over. This July, all Tetris Effect owners will have the opportunity to download a free update that will transform their game into (dum dum daaaa!) Tetris Effect: Connected!" announced PlayStation via its official website.

The giant game platform company also confirmed that the new "Tetris Effect: Connected" will be available to the players for free.

'Tetris Effect: Connected' Details

According to Games Radar's latest report, the new version of "Tetris Effect: Connected" will allow the players to connect with one another no matter what platform they use when playing.

These specifically include PlayStation, PC, and Xbox. On the other hand, the process will work by lobbies betting "Room ID." On the other hand, this code can also be shared with friends who are playing on different platforms.

Aside from this, the new Room ID feature will also protect your privacy. You can hide it if you want to play with your friends exclusively. This is a great enhancement, especially to those who are streaming.

Features Offered By 'Tetris Effect: Connected' 

PlayStation Blog reported that there will be various multiplayer modes offered by the new "Tetris Effect: Connected." Here are the following that you should know: 

Zone Battle 

The new Zone Battle is a great mode to test out the skills that players learned in single-player. It is a one-on-one competition played with standard "Tetris Effect" settings. 

Score Attack

Score Attack is another one-on-one mode that can also be played with standard "Tetris Effect" settings. However, this one will be quite different since there will be no Line Attacks, the mechanic that gives your opponent additional floor whenever your clear blocks. 

Connected

On the other hand, this mode is a three-player type. But, the new Connected mode will be quite different since your team needs to defeat an AI-powered boss. However, you can also choose some of the players to act like the boss. This means that the setup will still depend on your team's decision.
