Apple first revealed its new computer software during its World Developers Conference, which took place in early June. Aside from the actual look, the tech giant firm also revealed all the features that users can expect from the new software.

These include the so-called Universal Control. This tool allows you to use a single mouse and keyboard to move between your iPad and Mac. Aside from this, this feature can also do this smoothly.

On the other hand, it also offers AirPlay and other capabilities that are already offered in iOS 15, such as Apple's Focus feature and FaceTime's spatial audio.

Right now, macOS 12 is offered by Apple as a developer preview. This simply means that macOS Monterey needs users to pay for an account before they can download it.

On the other hand, Apple confirmed that the complete version of its new laptop software will be rolled out this fall. This means that it will arrive this coming September, which is also the same release date as the iPhone 13.

If you are interested in trying the upcoming macOS Monterey public beta version, experts suggested that you avoid installing it on your main MacBook model. They explained that this may cause your device to suffer from different bugs since the software is still incomplete.

On the other hand, if you have other spare gadgets, all you need to do is follow these steps:

  1. The first thing you need to do is click this link or visit beta.apple.com.
  2. After that, just enter your Apple ID and select macOS from the program list.
  3. Once you are done with it, you can now click the "Enroll Your Mac" option.
  4. Then you need to click the blue button, which has the label "Download the MacOS Public Beta Access Utility."

Features Offered By MacOS Monterey

Apple Insider reported that the new macOS Monterey also offers a new design for Safari. These include more rounded tabs, a background color-based menu bar, and other improvements.

On the other hand, it also offers the new Quick Note, which allows you to organize your plans easier and smoother. One of its most notable features allows you to drag the cursor to the lower-right corner to make a new Quick Note pad.
