Randy "Macho Man" Savage, takes the center ring once more as the first inductee of the WWE Hall of Fame's Class of 2015.  He will be honored during a ceremony that wil follow WrestleMania 31 on the night of March 29 in California.

Best known for his rivalry with Hulk Hogan on and off the ring, Macho Man was able to combine professionalism, athleticism, and storytelling that made the World Wrestling Federation fun and entertaining.

According to his fans, Macho Man did not have it easy when he came onto the scene. Other WWF greats had already been established by the time he got started. Hulk Hogan, and the Junkyard Dog, for example, were already household names. However, Macho Man paved his way to win over fans and create some of the most memorable moments in WWF history.

Randy Savage entered the WWF as Macho Man with a grand display of the rookie choosing a new manager. Complete with all the theatrics of wrestling and storytelling, he instantly made himself a superstar when he selected the unknown Miss Elizabeth to represent him, amidst the shock of other sleazy managers who wanted a piece of him, thus cemented his place and his grand debut with the WWF.

One cannot speak of Savage as Macho Man, without mentioning his feud with the Hulkster. However, on Sept. 23, 1987, during Saturday Night's Main Event, the two arch-rivals teamed up after Macho Man's match with The Honky Tonk Man. Hulk Hogan, emerged to extend his hand in friendship to Macho Man after Honky Tonk Man threw down Miss Elizabeth during the end of the match, thus formed the Mega Powers of the two former nemesis.

The friendship was not to last for long. During WrestleMania V on April 2, 1989, the two were bitter rivals once again with Macho Man accusing the Hulkster of having "'jealous eyes,' as well as 'lust' for Miss Elizabeth."

His paranoia and bitterness for his on and off friend led to his defeat and he succumbed to Hulk's trademark leg drop and lost his year-long World Title.

For his fans, Macho Man will remain one of the most recognizable stars in the history of WWF.

Macho Man passed away May 2011 when he suffered a heart attack whle  driving on State Route 694 in Florida.
