Twitter games leaker Wario64 (@Wario64), has confirmed earlier today that "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" Anniversary Edition would be a free upgrade for those that have the "Special Edition."
"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" Special Edition is a version of the game that features expanded content, as it was initially marketed by Bethesda when it was first released. Initially, it was rumored that those that have the Special Edition would need to purchase the Anniversary Edition releasing on November 11.
However, Wario64 retracted that statement and clarified that it would be a free next-generation upgrade.
What to Expect on 'The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim' Anniversary Edition?
Bethesda has confirmed that there would indeed be special content for the Anniversary Edition but did not clarify what are these. In the coming months leading up to November, surely Bethesda would tease "Skyrim" and give players an insight into the upcoming content of the game.
Most probably, it would be an expansion of the title or resemble that of a DLC add-on for people to enjoy and look forward to.
