Xbox One system update for February is right around the corner, and it will bring to the tablet several new features fans should enjoy. The features are not mind-blowing, but wonderful nonetheless.

Interestingly enough, there are quite a few updates for the TV aspect of the Xbox One, but we doubt many folks will care about it much, especially since Microsoft is distancing itself from TV and is focusing more on video games.

The most interesting update this time around, is the transparent tiles, and Game Hubs.

Transparent Tiles:

Pretty much what the title says. With the February update, Xbox One users will have the option to allow the tiles on the homescreen to be transparent. This makes it easier to see the background images, though it is not as smooth when compared to what Windows Phone 8.1 has brought to the table.

We hope that when Windows 10 comes around, Microsoft will incorporate some of the operating system's features into the Xbox One, and give users more useable homescreen.

Game Hubs:

The game hubs is where Xbox One owners go for all sorts of interesting things going on in the community. From there, players can see what their friends are up to in terms of the games they are playing. Furthermore, players will have the option to check out the coolest video game clips, and broadcasts by other players around the world.

New TV Features:

Due to the backtracking of the company, we are surprised the TV aspect of the console have gotten this much attention. With this new update, folks can stream live TV via their Android and Windows Phone devices. Furthermore, folks can also view which TV content is trending via OneGuide, along with improved controls for set-top-boxes, TVs, audio and video receivers.

It is safe to say that this is a great update for Xbox One players, and right now we are curious as to what Microsoft is working on for the March update. We should get an idea soon as folks in the beta program will be the first to get a taste of what's to come, and they will share with the rest of the world.
