"Fortnite" is bringing new mutants on the game with X-Men members Rogue and Gambit making their way to the battle royale and saving the island from pesky troublemakers that threaten it. Comic book lovers Mr. and Mrs. Gambit brings their classic look from the 1980s to the game, expanding the world of mutants in the battle royale.

Epic Games announced that "Fortnite" is harboring mutants on the island and it is with lovers Anna Marie a.k.a. Rogue, and the French Remy LeBeau a.k.a. Gambit. The happy couple made their way to the island and it is a surprise drop from the battle royale for their appearance, as both are notable members of the organization.

Both characters bring their classic costumes from the comics.

Rogue's iconic yellow and green jumpsuit paired with a brown blazer, yellow gloves, and her white and black headband appear. It also brings a Back bling emblem that holds the symbol of the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, a Holo X-Axe pickaxe, the iconic Blackbird jet used as a glider, and the Hands Off! Emote.

More Members of 'X-Men' Coming Soon?

Currently, there is no news or confirmation from "Fortnite" or Epic Games regarding more members of the X-Men coming to the game soon, but the arrival of Rogue and Gambit may suggest their appearance. The game may bring more popular characters from "X-Men" including Professor X, Beast, Magneto, Colossus, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, Iceman, and more.

'Fortnite's' Marvel Crossover

Last 2020 was the major crossover of Marvel and "Fortnite" that brought three popular mutants from the comics to the battle royale for gamers to wear as skins. It includes one of the most popular X-Man in the series, Wolverine, alongside the weather-controlling heroine, Storm, and the shape-shifting member of the Brotherhood of Mutants, Mystique.

November 2021 saw one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel universe grace the battle royale with the Dark Phoenix skin set of Jean Grey, the level 5 mutant in the comic series. Marvel characters popped once again in the game including Loki, Spider-Man, the Green Goblin, the duo of Hawkeyes, and more, but none from the mutant world.

The increased presence of Marvel characters in the game makes it an excellent place for comic book, movie, and series fans to live out their favorite heroes and villains to wreak havoc on the island. "Fortnite" also gives users a chance to play out their favorite mutants in games, especially as X-Men do not have as many games now compared to their peak in the early 2000s.
