Tesla is now offering support to Ukraine in the midst of its ongoing conflict with the Russian invasion. The company has set up various spots across Europe, mainly those situated near Ukraine, allowing EV drivers free access to DC supercharging starting on Monday.

That's right. Tesla allows Tesla drivers and those with any form of electric vehicle to use their supercharging stations. The automotive brand announced this form of humanitarian aid via an email chain sent to various drivers set in the Ukraine and areas around it. The email, provided via Teslarati, reads:

"Charge for free in parts of Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary. Beginning Monday, we are temporarily enabling free Supercharging for both Tesla and Non-Tesla vehicles at sites in areas impacted by the recent situation in Ukraine. Starting with: Trzebownisko, Poland, Košice, Slovakia, (as well as Miskolc and Debrecen in) Hungary. We hope that this helps give you the peace of mind to get to a safe location."

Various Tesla and even non-Tesla drivers showed their adoration with the news on social media sites, mainly Twitter. One such user, named Łukasz Średnicki, even thanked Elon Musk in their post, a screenshot of the aforementioned email.

The news comes not mere weeks following Tesla's opening of Superchargers for alternate EVs in the Netherlands. A trial period had been underway starting since November of last year with 10 sites that grew over time and into other countries, such as Germany, Belgium, Poland, and France.

Tesla has made it a point to allow its supercharging stations access to everyone with an EV, not solely Tesla owners, as this Supercharging initiative expands across European locations. The only necessity for said non-Tesla drivers is the Tesla Supercharging app that allows drivers access to the fueling station.

Free supercharging for all EV owners isn't the only way Tesla and head honcho, Musk, are aiding in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Last week, following a direct callout from Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Information Mykhailo Fedorvo on Twitter, Musk relayed Starlink high-speed internet services were made available in Ukraine with the promise of more terminal kits "en route."

Despite its depressing nature and the casualties, the ongoing Russian invasion in Ukraine has shown that the people of this world can still come together and aid each other in a desperate time of need. With free EV supercharging across all types of rides and more stable internet, Ukrainians can hopefully find peace in their dire time of need.
