Review 'Your Activity

Instagram brings users a chance to take control of their account via Your Activity, and it is also a place to set different features like one's screen time, limits, reminders, archives, posts, and more. The social media focuses on giving users the capabilities to do this via Your Activity.

However, users can also go back to posts that they have liked but forgot to bookmark or send to a friend. The feature is also helpful when finding a user to which they discovered the post.

Go to your profile and access the three-line menu on the top right corner of the app. From there, users can select 'Your Activity.'

There are various options there, but users can go to the 'Interactions' to which it will reflect past likes and comments that they published online. From there, users can redact likes or delete comments if they wish to do so.

Receive Post Notifications

Post notifications are an excellent way to receive updates regarding a favorite celebrity or personality and a function to remind a person that their friends or significant other have already posted on their feed. It will avoid getting the cold shoulder for not interacting, especially if one does not use their phones at all times.

The Chronological Feed from Adam Mosseri might push a friend's post at the time, but post notifications are here to save the day.

Visit the accounts' profile that you want to receive notifications from, and click the "Following" button. From there, users will have an option about 'Notifications' to which they will have a separate window that will have an on and off switch, from posts, stories, reels, and more.

Toggling will appear on one's device like a regular Instagram notification.

Quick Replies

Quick Replies are a lifesaver, especially for content creators and people that want to shorten what they want to type and give it a longer message that would no longer need to be written again.

Go to one's profile and click the three-line menu to toggle 'Settings.' Go to 'Creator' and choose 'Quick Replies' to set different keywords that will translate to a long message when sending to others.

It could say, "I appreciate the genuine connection and reaction to my post. Take care always!" with users only typing "ty" on their keyboards anytime.

Bookmark and its Categories

Users already know the Bookmark function of Instagram that automatically saves a post they can browse later. However, not everyone knows about its categories that would round up several types into a single folder.

To toggle this, users only need to press the bookmark button on the bottom right of an Instagram post, which they can also put into specific categories that only they can see. They can revisit it later via the Bookmarks option and browse each category, including (and not limited to) Cars, Makeup, Fashion, Lifestyle, Food, and other specific posts they categorize.
