'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare:' Twitch's Most Viewed Game

As per a news story by Dexerto, the "Modern Warfare" is one of the most successful game releases from the "Call of Duty" franchise, which debuted more than a decade from now or way back in 2011.

It is worth noting that it has been 11 years since "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" first saw the light of day, but despite that, the first shooter game is still amassing hundreds of thousands of views.

To be more precise, on March 13, the first shooter title by Activision, "Modern Warfare 3" shocked its fans on Twitch after it became the most-watched game on the video streaming service, which primarily focuses on video games.

As such, "Modern Warfare" has outperformed all of the gaming titles on Twitch, placing it second in terms of viewership numbers to the Just Chatting category of the streaming service.

The official Twitter account of "Modern Warzone" went on to pride the latest achievement of the 2011 first-shooter game, noting that it currently has more views than massive titles, such as "Grand Theft Auto V," "Elden Ring," Valorant," and Minecraft."

Not to mention that it has also overtaken other similar games like "Call of Duty: Warzone," "Fortnite," and "Apex Legends," at least in its current viewership records on the streaming service.

It is interesting to point out that the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" even before Twitch entered the world of the internet and became a thing, according to a recent report by Sportskeeda.

But still, "Modern Warfare" did not disappoint its fans as it still broke a recent viewership record on Twitch.

'Call of Duty Modern Warfare' Tournament

It turns out that a Spanish Twitch streamer is currently hosting a massive tournament of that "Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3," bringing in tons of views to the more than a decade-old gaming title.

The Spanish streamer that goes by the name IlloJuan organized the throwback tournament that showcased the old "Call of Duty" game, wherein other hugely popular streamers on Twitch also joined, including TheGrefg.

That said, the fans of "Modern Warfare" gathered in the throwback tournament organized by various Spanish streamers, making the decade-old game hotter than recent titles like "Elden Ring" and "Call of Duty: Warzone."
