As per a news story by 9to5Mac, the mid-range variant of the iPhone 14 is going to sport the same display resolutions as the higher-end iPhone 13 models, such as the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

On the other hand, the upcoming higher-end flagship phones of Apple, both the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the iPhone 14 Pro, which is currently codenamed D73 and D74, are getting a taller display than their predecessors.

Not to mention that these higher-end iPhones are also reportedly flaunting the new dual-hole Face ID design, replacing the dated notch look. Thus, the need for a much larger display.

What's more, the sources of the news outlet also confirmed previous reports, saying that two iPhone 14 models will be sporting new Apple chips, while the other two will settle for the A15 chip.

Reputable Apple analyst and leaker Ming-Chi Kuo recently predicted that the rumored A16 chip is exclusively powering the Pro Model of iPhone 14 due to the chip shortage.
