As per a news story by Engadget, the upcoming game based on the Harry Potter franchise, "Hogwarts Legacy" is coming to various gaming platforms sometime during the holiday season this 2022.

"Hogwarts Legacy" was first announced way back in 2020, wherein it was supposed to see the light of day sometime in 2021.

However, the release date of the much-awaited gaming title based on Harry Potter has been delayed for another year or in 2022.

This time around, the upcoming game has a release timeframe this year, saying it would be during the holidays, suggesting that a more precise release date is coming our way.

“Hogwarts Legacy” is coming to Nintendo Switch as well besides the Xbox, PS4, PS5, and PC.

So, folks looking forward to it should expect its debut during the latter part of 2022.

On top of that, Warner Brothers Games Avalanche also released the trailer of the open-world RPG game of Harry Potter during the Sony State of Play event.

The latest trailer of "Hogwarts Legacy" reveals the first-ever look of the gaming title since it was teased way back in 2020. The first look gives a more vivid picture of the experience of the upcoming game.

'Hogwarts Legacy' on Nintendo Switch

The Harry Potter spinoff gaming title was initially confirmed to be coming to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Series X/S.

Meanwhile, according to a recent story by Nintendo Life, the Harry Potter-based gaming title is coming to an unexpected gaming platform.

Although "Hogwarts Legacy" is heavily promoted for the PlayStation platform, not to mention that its first trailer was showcased during the State of Play PS5 event, it is also coming to Nintendo Switch.

The news outlet noted that the official website of the upcoming gaming title confirms that it is coming as the hybrid and handheld console of Nintendo.

In fact, the Nintendo Switch logo sits below the website of the gaming title, along with other gaming platforms.

What's more, to further prove that the massive RPG title is also releasing on Switch consoles, the FAQ page of its website also confirms it.
