However, a glimmer of hope recently appeared for the fans. For the second day in a row, PlayStation Direct will be hosting another round of invite-only PS5 restock on Thursday, Mar. 24.

PlayStation Direct will be holding another round of invite-only PS5 restock on March 24.
The PS5 stock shortage won't stop throughout the whole year, as several reports claimed. However, expect that several units will be released each month so there's still breathing room for those who fear missing these out.
According to a report by Gaming Intel, Sony's official PlayStation Direct store will be rolling out some PS5 supplies today.
A day prior to the second restock event, the console maker was able to hold an invite-only PlayStation 5 restock. Since the units are just limited in numbers in the inventory, not everyone has gotten this elusive gaming machine from the retailer.
This time, Sony will release another wave of PS5 consoles for those who missed the previous restock from the shop.
Like our always reminder for PlayStation Direct customers, you need to regularly check your email for the updates you want to hear from Sony. Don't forget to visit your spam folder, as well.

For UK-based buyers, GAME recently dropped consoles on the same date. However, all PS5 units from this retailer have now sold out, but still, you need to keep an eye on the second round of the event.
According to T3, this is now the third time GAME held a restock for this month. It's a good sign that supplies are circulating across the country.
Aside from the consoles, there are several bundles that you might want to purchase. One of them includes a PS5 DualSense controller together with "Gran Turismo 7" and "Horizon Forbidden West."
For additional PS5 restock tricks, Tech Times reported that you could increase your chances of snagging the next-gen console by creating three different accounts.
With that, you will receive three invites over a three-month period. This would later translate into a bigger success of securing Sony's console.
