An Overwatch player is playing Mercy on a high-level thanks to his motorized mouse wheel.

Since her release in 2016, Mercy became a fan favorite because of her healing abilities. As one of the original "Overwatch" heroes, players have a knack to play her at an unbelievable level.

Over the past years, players are thinking to use her more creatively. With the evolving meta and the ever-changing setting of items and skills, it's important to adapt to the developments and short tweaks in "Overwatch."

Dexerto spotted that one player has transformed Mercy into the killing machine thanks to his invention in the form of a motorized mouse wheel.

As EvilToaster tweeted out on his official account, he encountered a Mercy player in "Overwatch" on Monday, April 4. According to him, this player has attached a motor to the free-moving scroll wheel.

The unknown player is reportedly using a G501 mouse which does a wonderful job in quick-switching of Mercy's healing and damage boost. Just imagine that these two upgrades are happening simultaneously.

"If you're not doing this you're just throwing tbh. Me to any other mercy player from now on: 'No motor?'" Toaster said in the uploaded clip on Twitter.

Is Using a Motorized Mouse Wheel Considered Cheating?

Of course, this issue could spark some controversy among the players. Others pointed out that the "Overwatch" player who used a motorized mouse can be compared to a Cassidy player who relied on the same strategy.

According to other players, the rapid switching between damage and dealing is somewhat comparable to cheating. They considered it to be worthy of being reported since it's too overpowered to use in combat.

The final verdict on whether it's a cheating trick or not will still depend on the developers. It might be useful if Blizzard entertainment can evaluate and check if it's counted as a cheat code.

Still, it's interesting that this battle-royale game has evolved throughout the years. It goes to show that various gamers can mix up other stuff to bring a next-level gaming experience to "Overwatch."

Leaked Battle Pass Feature in 'Overwatch 2?'

In another report from IGN, leaked concept art of "Overwatch 2" could be the key to the upcoming Battle Pass in the game. Players could expect that several features will come soon including Play and Shop and some tweaks in the settings.

Although there's still no official launch date for "Overwatch 2," a myriad of rumors are already brewing on Reddit and other platforms regarding the arrival of new heroes and items.

Several screenshots made rounds online ahead of the close beta rollout of the game which is slated to take place on April 26.
