Sonos is rumored to be releasing an entry-level soundbar soon which is packed with premium features that you won't expect because of its price.

Since it's very affordable, you might want to think of saving your money in the meantime and wait for its official launch.

Sonos might release its $250 soundbar to rival other competing brands, according to the recent rumors.

According to a report by Gizmodo, the leaked soundbar is said to have a codename "Fury." If its release happens today, it will be listed as model S36, the tech publication notes.

Seeing a quality soundbar at a very low price sounds unrealistic especially since the existing soundbars are way beyond that price range. Interestingly, it features a lot of things that you won't expect from an entry-level.

The Vergewrites that there's a possibility that we can see this soundbar around June 7 so that's two months from now. It is rumored to be around $249 so that's a very cheap price to consider knowing that you want to buy a low-priced but to-notch product.

Additionally, the tech site even made a 3D render of this leaked product on its exclusive report. As such, it resembles the flagship Arc and Beam soundbars which sit at $899 and $499 respectively. It might be arriving in two color options: black and white.

Expected Sonos S36 Features

Since it could potentially come at a very affordable value, we expect that Sonos will exclude some features that have existed from the previous models. For instance, the Dolby Atmos support will be ditched.

We assume that it won't be the same as the past builds with a complete set of mics. More importantly, the company could be leaning on producing this soundbar for TV usage.

It should be noted that it might be paired with other Sonos speakers so it's still viable to use for home viewing and music streaming.

The Verge includes in its report that Sonos foresees that some users will use it along with the Sonos Arc. As of writing, the smart home firm has not yet revealed further details about this product and whether it will be released this year or not.

Since it's just a rumor, it's always significant to take this with a grain of salt. Assuming that it's real for the part of Sonos, this could be a game-changing soundbar for those who are short on their budget.

Per Gizmodo, the upcoming soundbar could come at par with other competing soundbar brands with the likes of Vizio which is currently selling the V-Series V51X-J6 for just below $200. This product is perfect for home theater viewing.
