New Logo, New Upgrades

Instead of the word "Asus" on the lids of other laptops, these two additions will have a new arrow-shaped logo.

The Zenbook 13 S OLED is very similar with the existing 13-inch Zenbooks in the line-up, it is over half an inch thick and also weighs around 2.2 pound, which makes this the lightest 13-inch laptop in the world.

Its magnesium-aluminium alloy unibody is expected to be robust and durable, an ideal laptop for busy workers. This new laptop is also available in fun colors such as Vestige Beige, Aqua Celadon, Refined White, Blue, and more.

Meanwhile, the screen is a 2.8K 16:10 touchscreen with a 0.2ms response time and 550 nits of peak brightness. For its connectivity, it has an audio jack which is not available from some recent Zenbooks and it also features three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C ports for supporting DisplayPort and Power Delivery.

This laptop is powered by AMD's Ryzen 6000 processors, it has a Ryzen 5 6600U or a Ryzen 1 6800U, which can be configured with up to 32GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and one terabyte(TB) of storage.

According to Tech Crunch, there hasn't been a plenty of testing conducted with these processors yet but they are expected to be "more than capable of handling entertainment, office work, and other tasks" that are generally done on every 13-inch laptop.

But Trusted Reviews also noted that this laptop is not ideal for gaming, however, the processor should enable the user for speedy productive and creative work, as tested by the reviewers themselves.

It also has a 15.6-inch screen with 2880 x 1620 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate that has a 16:9 aspect ratio. The Zenbook Pro 15 guarantees that can you can get up to one TB of storage and up to 16GB of memory compared to the 13-inch laptop that can reach up to 32GB.

Based on the past Zenbook 15 Flip models that are equipped with Nvidia GPUs instead of Intel ones, they are currently priced for as much as $1,499, according to Best Buy's site

Asus, as of writing, has not released an official price of release date for their products, but according to Amazon, the 13:9-inch Zenbook S is currently priced at $1,699.98.
