BERLIN, GERMANY - SEPTEMBER 04: Visitors try out the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet at the Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 at Tempodrom on September 4, 2013 in Berlin, Germany.

New Specs and Features

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 features a 10.4-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution. It also comes with a 5MP selfie camera, while the back camera is at 8MP.

It has 4GB RAM  and 64GB storage that runs on a 7040milliamp battery. The S6 Lite 2022 is equipped with AKG-tuned stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Awesome Performance

With the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, users can expect a boost in the tablet's overall performance. It is an 8-core chipset that was announced on January 24, 2020, and is made with 8-nanometer process technology.

It will also help enhance the mobile gaming experience that will transport users to new worlds in just seconds. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G outperforms the Snapdragon 730G.

On the other hand, the Android 12, which was launched on the Pixel 6 series is a huge effort by Google as it comes with new features and a significant design refresh.

Users can now take advantage of scrolling screenshots by taking a screenshot as you would normally do and clicking the 'Capture More' button for a full scrolling screenshot. Users can crop the screenshots as well and add text.

There is also the AppSearch that comes with the new software that allows users to search within apps. It works offline and it also allows users to search for music.

An improved auto-rotate feature will also make things a lot easier as it can detect when the phone or tablet is flipped on its side. There is also easier WiFi sharing using a small button that will let users use 'Nearby Share' to send WiFi credentials to someone else's. Therefore, sharing becomes faster with multiple people and it will not require users to hold their phones up for everyone to scan the QR code.

Moreover, the software includes a native one-handed mode available in the 'Settings' > 'System' > 'Gestures.' This mode will shrink everything down to a half size that is similar to a multi-window view, except that the upper half of the screen is blank. With this, users can reach anyone one-handed.

There is also 'Quick Settings' in the media player that will enable users to change the audio source easily. Just click the button and a list will appear with all the currently connected devices.

A Smaller Galaxy Fan Edition Tablet In the Works?

Aside from the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022, there are also rumors that suggest Samsung is working on another tablet with model number "SM-T630" / "SM-T636B," which could have an 11-inch display.

With that, it's highly possible that Samsung would release a new Tab S Lite Fan Edition table that is smaller and more budget-friendly this year.
