Driving through black icy roads can be challenging. Trying to maneuver, remain in control, and get to the destination without getting into an accident is all any driver can ask for when faced with these kinds of road conditions. Many motorists from the Northern New Jersey to Southern New Hampshire area experienced exactly this when flash icing of the roads on Sunday caused many of them to spin out of control.

One driver travelling the New Jersey Turnpike almost experienced a collision, but lucky for him, he escaped relatively unscathed. He even managed to record the whole thing on his phone's camera.

The unidentified driver, who caught the accident on film, was already recording a collision between two tractor-trailers blocking the entire southbound lane of I-95 near New Brunswick, New Jersey when he heard a noise from behind. He quickly turned to look into his rear car window and ended up recording the massive double semi-truck barreling and fighting for control behind him.

The driver, known only as MrLegolize on his YouTube account, posted, "I only wanted to take a picture while I was awaiting for them to clear up... And then I heard a noise from behind...I was barely missed," he said.

The video has more than a million views to date and continues to get more hits by the hour.

The 60-second clip shows the double semi-truck starting to lose control, skid and weave on the road before barreling through and finally coming to a stop at the other side of the lane.

Throughout the recording the unidentified driver remained calm as he was narrowly missed by the oncoming truck and continued to drive to a safe distance, "I realized how badly my hands were shaking," he said before he dialed to call 911.
