Neumeister showed the analytics of several demonstratives of photos that Heard submitted that showed bruising on her arms or face.

Neumeister said that the file's software was not from an iPhone, but was rendered in an editing program as shared on Twitter by Law & Crime Network.

Using Exif data analytics, one photo on Heard's arm and Neumeister said that all three files "don't match forensically" and "all had to go through some type of transformation to change sizes."

Neumeister testified in court and said that there is no way for forensic experts to validate all of these photos. He also believed the several photos were modified.

EXIF Data

EXIF is short for Exchangeable Image File, which is a standard for storing interchange information in digital photography image files through JPEG compression.

The data can provide specific information related to an image or other media captured by a digital camera.

Not a First

This isn't the first time Heard was accused of modifying photos in court. Camille Vasquez, Depp's attorney, also accused Heard of editing her injury photos in cross-examination last well.

Two pictures were presented side by side to the court last week, and Heard claimed they were two separately taken photos with different lighting. Argued Vasquez, "The light is on in both of these pictures though."

She continued, "Isn't it true you just edited these photographs? And you just enhanced the saturation from one of these photos to make your face look more red."

Heard responded that one of the lights in the photos are a "vanity light."

A Slip-Up?

Furthermore, a part of Heard's testimony went viral when she called a makeup palette here "bruise kit" before she quickly corrected herself. She said that she uses the makeup palette to cover up her bruises.

On May 17, she held up the palette, "This is what I was talking about as a color correction kit. This is not, obviously, the exact one I used to carry, but I used to carry it with me all the time."

She further explained, "And then if you want to cover up a bruise, you obviously put foundation first, concealer and then on top of that I use like a bruise kit.  She quickly corrected herself and said, "Not a bruise kit, it's a theater makeup kit."

Many people on social media also pointed out that the photos were edited.

Depp is suing Hear for $50 million for defamation following an op-ed in 2018 claiming to be a victim of domestic violence.
