ASUS ROG Phone 6 is now set for its global launch next month. Here's what you need to know.

As XDA Developers reports on Thursday, June 2, ASUS will be holding a conference about the upcoming ROG Phone 6. As of press time, the notebook vendor has not yet dropped the exact specs of the new flagship.

It's noteworthy that it will sport the latest Qualcomm chip on the market. Aside from having a powerful Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, ASUS ROG Phone 6 will reportedly feature an AMOLED display thanks to Samsung technology.

The said display will sport a unique cooling system so your device can avoid overheating issues as much as possible. On top of that, it will boast a 165Hz refresh rate.

ROG Phone 6 Will Don Space-Themed Design

For now, that's the only thing that we know about the newest ASUS flagship phone. When it comes to its design, the company hints that this model will be coming with a space-themed appearance.

Having said that, we should expect that space-related icons and motifs will be coming sooner, as well. Another thing is that it will arrive with a lot of bonus accessories such as a headphone, charger, and more.

The phone maker remains mummed about its final design, but we expect it won't stray away from its predecessor. Other than that, we anticipate that it will take advantage of the up-to-date firmware, mainly the Android 12 update.

It should be noted that it could slightly sport a mainstay design, but we could potentially see a lot of interesting features to come. As such, a fresh ROG 06 branding at the rear, a bigger camera module, and a PMOLED display will be the notable tweaks to watch out for.
