The SpaceX Starship already received its final assessment from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA), which brought it what it needs to start on the program for its testing. However, it is not a green light for the company to get its license, as it has many things that it aims to change on Starbase, with 75 things to be exact.

BOCA CHICA, TX - SEPTEMBER 28: A prototype of SpaceXs Starship is pictured at the company's Texas launch facility on September 28, 2019 in Boca Chica near Brownsville, Texas.

The FAA released an online document that reveals what SpaceX needs to do for the Starship program, and this marks the end of its environmental assessment that it needs to move forward. However, it is not a signal for the company to launch its spacecraft yet, as there are many things to change in the rockets and its Texas operational facility before getting its license.

SpaceX got many things that the FAA saw on its assessment, and it talked about 75 things to change on Starbase, Texas, particularly on the launch facility dedicated for the Starship. These changes would then decide if SpaceX obtains its license from the FAA for its spacecraft to test its capabilities and see the many things it needs to change before actual flights.

Starbase to See Significant Changes

According to The Verge, the license relies on the Starbase facility on Boca Chica before getting its full approval from the regulatory agency. One of the main reasons for its hindrance is that there would be residents that would get disruption from their daily lives because of the upcoming launches of the space company, not to mention its effect on the environment.

The FAA environmental review last April disclosed that it would need another month for its assessment of the Starship and the other factors that will bring its flights soon. That last update was towards the end of April, but now the said assessment came for SpaceX to look into the results, and here, the company needs to adhere to what the regulatory agency requires for a license.

The Polaris Program is waiting for Starship's approval for the company to continue its plans to make human life multi-planetary and not only stay here on Earth for their lives. The program aims to make spaceflights more available to civilians who want to venture to Mars and other planets or systems that will soon be the destination.

SpaceX plans to make more than a thousand Starships soon to support its Polaris Program.

However, it is now in an era where it needs to change many things in its operations and focus on what is required of them by the regulatory agencies. SpaceX must adhere to these requests and changes to continue with its operations, especially in obtaining the Starship's much-needed license for its test flights.
