As per Slashgear, the Hide My Email feature is currently operational to select devices that support iOS 15, macOS Monterey 12, and iPadOS 15.

If you are currently using iCloud+, you can also access this feature. Once your device is compatible with it, you can now start setting up Hide My Email.

To get started, create a dummy email address. Then, access the Settings app and tap the Apple ID settings. Click your name afterward.

From there, click iCloud. Once you're done, you will see many options on the screen. Just tap Hide My Email.

If you're already an iCloud subscriber, it's important to know that you should upgrade it to its "+" version. Here's how to do it.

  1. Select "Subscribe to iCloud+" and just do all the instructions needed for the subscription.
  2. Once you're already subscribed to it, make a new address.
  3. A new Hide My Email address will be generated. Choose your preference from the options.
  4. If you're still not okay with the given address, you can select another one. Click "Continue."
  5. Create the new email address on the next screen. Confirm the changes.
  6. Once you're finished, you can now use your new unique email address for any service that you like.

Managing Your Hide My Email Address

Changing your Hide My Email is easy and the simplest way is to open your device's Settings. After that, open your account by clicking the name above the menu.

Then, click iCloud and tap the feature right away. Now that you're on a new screen, search for "Forward to" to see all the currently registered email addresses.

Make sure to choose one of them. Then, click "Contactable At" so you can add another one. When you're already done, tap "Done" to see the changes.

Deactivating Hide My Email

To deactivate your dummy email address because you don't want to use it anymore, go to the "Sign Up Email" menu and look for "'Deactivate email address."

Tap this option to start the deactivating process. You won't receive any emails anymore from this address.
