We are finally seeing the prototype of Polestar 5. Polestar will reveal multiple Electric Vehicles (EVs) at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed in England on June 23.

Along with the Polestar 5 sports sedan, we will also see the original Precept concept, which inspired the Polestar 5 and the limited edition Polestar 2.
Not a First Time to See It
This isn't the first time we will see The Polestar 5, though. In 2020, we were given a preview of the model as the Precept concept, and it is known that the production concept won't stray far from that design.
There were also leaked patent images earlier this month that revealed the four-door car's styling. Also, the company released a photo of the Polestar 5 prototype that it will showcase at the festival.
Also in the fall of 2020, Polestar announced the Precept concept that would transition into a production model, filming a documentary series following the design journey. By the fall of 2021, Polestar confirmed that the Precept would become the Polestar 5 sports sedan.

The Polestar 5 To Be Unveiled
The Polestar 5 is similar to the Precept and is covered in a camouflage wrap. It features a huge charge port on top of the fender. It will be one of several TVs on display in England. When it's not demo-ing drives up the hill, the Polestar 5 prototype will be on display at the First Glance Paddock.
At the Polestar stand, the O2 roadster concept will be making its UK debut as well. While the Polestar 2 BST edition 270 will be on display with two concepts.
The most recent Polestar 2 model will be on Electric Avenue. Visitors can book test drives on a closed route adjacent to the main festival area.
There are not enough details yet about the Polestar 5; plus, the EV won't arrive for another two years.
The Polestar 5 will likely compete against the Tesla Model S, Porsche Taycan, and Audi E-Tron GT. To keep up with these TVs, the Polestar 5 should have good styling.
Other Reveals
It looks like the festival will be home to a lot of reveals. BMW will showcase the long-awaited M3 Touring. On the other hand, Ford Performance also teases that it will reveal something electrifying. Furthermore, Porsche will reveal the 718 Cayman GT4 ePerformance EV that will run up the festival's famous hill.
As for the Polestar 5 prototype, the company is expected to close its business combination with Gores Guggenheim, Inc ($GGPI) at the end of this month. Once complete, Polestar is expected to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol $PSNY.
