Over the past years, Nintendo Switch games have been impressive. From the "Mario" series to the "The Pokemon" franchise, the exclusive titles have shown a lot of improvements in their designs, gameplay, graphics, and stories.

This 2022, many video games have already come on the platform, but more are expected to come later. With the potential Nintendo Direct event that might kick off on June 29, we could see another wave of new games on Switch.

Here are some of the upcoming Switch games that you should watch out for in the next months.

'Cocoon'

Annapurna Interactive has previously teased its upcoming sci-fi video game on YouTube. "Cocoon" is expected to surprise many sci-fi lovers who are into solving puzzles and exploring mysterious narratives.

The game was mentioned during the latest Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. This game is all about endless roaming in different places from the perspective of an insect.

According to Essentially Sports, "Cocoon" is slated to arrive on Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch next year.

'The Plucky Squire'

If you're into the aesthetics of 2D and 3D animation, "The Plucky Squire" is the ideal game that you need to play soon. This action-adventure title is all about the protagonist Plucky who is currently diving into a bizarre world that's so alien to him.

It looks like a children's fairytale at first glance since there are so many storybook characters that you can see here. Switching realms and saving your friends are both fun in "The Plucky Squire."

The game will be available on Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in 2023.

'Melatonin'

"Melatonin" will tour you to strangeness and reality. This rhythm-based title will allow you to move from one world to another, which in this is reality and dreams.

The art style is simply mesmerizing, as well as the challenges you will encounter in the game. "Melatonin" is coming to Switch and Steam on Sept. 16.

'Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core-Reunion'

If there are the happiest fans on earth who will celebrate the upcoming Switch games, it would be the diehard "Final Fantasy" players.

As Square Enix said that the upcoming remake for "FFVII" will come to Switch in late 2022, some fans could not contain their excitement for this prequel.The company has unveiled the "Crisis Core-Reunion" during its 25th-anniversary celebration. It's a clear reminder that the most awaited RPG in the land will be available soon.

'Minecraft Legends'

Mojang Studios is bringing "Minecraft Legends" to Nintendo Switch and three other platforms this time. This title features a rich encounter with Piglins, and your mission is to strategize to safeguard the kingdom from the intruders.

The brand new game is centered on strategic combat. You need to protect Overworld at all costs by training smart and leading your allies to victory.

As of writing, Mojang has not yet announced the exact date of release of this game, but it will be rolling out in 2023.
