The Asus ROG Phone series was able to top its competition in its past releases. In 2022, mobile gamers expect upgraded and better specs with the Asus ROG Phone 6.
A lot of people have anticipated the phone's release, with Asus announcing that it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip and it will be splash-resistant.
Asus ROG 6 Release Date
According to GSMArena, Asus confirmed on June 1 that the Asus ROG Phone 6 would roll out on July 5 at 8:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
However, Western buyers will need to wait weeks, even months later, as Asus spreads the launch over time, with the United States being one of the last places to get the new phone. The previous Asus phones took three to four months before they reached the US.

Specs and Features of Asus ROG 6
What sets Asus phones apart from their competition is their gamer aesthetic. Fans of the phone can expect the aesthetic to stay the same.
Fans of the Asus series can expect the ROG Phone 6 to come with some of the same design elements as the 2021 model.
The design includes a rear display, two USB-C ports on the bottom and one on the side, a headphone jack, and Air Triggers.
Also, the phone company revealed in January that the Asus ROG Phone 6 would be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 as its processor, according to Pocket Linit.
The company claimed that this would be the first gaming phone in the market with the chip. The phone should be a powerhouse with that chip under the hood, and it should prevent overheating issues.
Asus also announced that the ROG Phone 6 will be splash-resistant and has advertised it as the "world's 1st IPX4 gaming phone." The new model will come with a 165Hz AMOLED screen and improved cooling.
According to Android Authority, the phone got certified by TENAA, revealing its design and specs, including a 6.78-inch screen, 12MP selfie unit, 64MP primary camera, 18GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a 6,000 mAh battery.
The camera specs of the smartphone are still up in the air since the main focus of this model is gaming and not photography. But Asus could increase the camera specs too.
Asus ROG 6 Price
In 2021, Asus rolled out the ROG Phone 5 series. The Asus ROG Phone 5G was priced at $1,099, and the Asus ROG Phone 5S Pro was priced at $1,299.
Judging from the prices of the previous models, Asus could drop the ROG Phone 6 series at the same price points, though the base ROG Phone 5 was available for as low as $699 in some markets.
The most common models often sit close to the $1,000 mark, but that could still change. Also, Asus often launches a maxed-out Ultimate version of its ROG Phones. The Asus ROG Phone 6 would certainly land at around $1,499 or more.
