Nikon tightens its rivalry with Sony when it comes to vlogging through the newly-launched Nikon Z30 camera. This mirrorless camera could be the one you're looking for if you're into video content creation.

Nikon unveils its vlogging-centered camera in the Z30 series.

According to a report by Engadget, Nikon has officially introduced a vlogging-focused camera that you can use for a lightweight set-up. To match with Sony's ZV-E10, the Tokyo-based imaging product maker has brought the Z30 series to the spotlight.

What's more, is that this product is very affordable. However, to compensate for its lower price, Nikon has removed its electronic viewfinder.

The Z30 camera boasts a 4K/30p video. When it's plugged in, the recording time for your clips could reportedly last for 125 minutes, so that's a very long duration for your content.

Compared to the previously-released Nikon Z50, the Z30 model comes with a 3-in vari-angle touch display. The company chooses to ditch the tilting version for this feature.

Apart from that, you can charge this camera via a USB-C port. Universally, it has the advantage when it comes to charging since the future tech devices will adopt this port as per the EU's common charger law.

Vloggers Should Check Nikon Z30's AutoFocus

In another story written by Techradar on Wednesday, June 29, the Nikon Z30 also has an autofocus feature that vloggers can take advantage of.

Although the Nikon Z9's AF system is higher than Z30, the latter's autofocus is comparable with the previous Z7 and Z6 models.

With this feature, you can utilize Eye and Face autofocus on your subject. Additionally, your video recording could make use of the Animal Eye AF, as well.

What makes it suitable for vloggers and YouTube content streamers is its very lightweight design. It only weighs 405g, so it won't consume a huge space in your inventory. However, it does not have a headphone jack which other video creators might find lacking.

For its price, it will cost you $850. The package includes a Nikkor Z DX kit containing a 16-50mm f/3.5 to 6.3 lens. If you want to elevate your vlogging experience to another level, you can opt for another option with a 50-250mm lens for $1,200.

It should be noted that this camera is set to arrive next month, but there's another version (14-140mm f/3.5 to 6.3 lens) that will debut in November. It will sit at $1,150.

Speaking of its accessories, you can buy its specialized kit for creators at $150, including a Rode VideoMicro mic, SmallRig tripod grip, and Nikon ML-L7 Bluetooth remote.

If you want to complete the whole Nikon kit, you can purchase the Z400mm f/4.5 VR S, which the company considers its lightest lens to date. It only weighs 1.16 kg. It costs $3,250.
