During Apple's WWDC 2022, the tech giant released iOS 16 along with several software upgrades for other Apple devices.

The latest iOS 16 brings some notable changes, including the Lock Screen, which is now very customizable with widgets and even allows to stack notifications at the bottom of your screen.

Aside from the Lock Screen, there are a lot of other changes that are worth checking out with iOS 16. These updates might have gone under the radar and deserve your attention.

Some features are refined even though they are in their beta phase. Check out the best iOS 16 hidden features for iPhone.

Check Out Your Wi-Fi Password and Learn How to Share It

If you have a guest at home and want to share your Wi-Fi password so they can access your connection, you do not need to write it down.

With iOS 16, you can view and share the password whenever you want, according to MacRumors.

Just open your Settings and tap Wi-Fi, choose the "i" button, ad tap "Password." Copy the password, and you can share it with others.

Enable Haptic Feedback

In the past, haptic feedback on iPhone was only possible by downloading third-party keyboards such as Gboard, according to Tom's Guide.

If you want to enable this feature, you can do it through the iOS keyboard, and you no longer need a third-party one.

To do this, open Settings and tap "Sound & Haptics." Choose Keyboard Feedback and toggle on Haptic.

Enable Hybrid Dictation

If you know how useful the Dictation feature is, you know that the transcription stops if you touch the keyboard while dictating. However, this won't be the case while dictating in iOS 16, all thanks to the Hybrid Dictation feature.

This will enable you to dictate and type at the same time. The Automatic sentence punctuation also works better than ever.

Retrieving Deleted Chats in Messages

If you want to retrieve deleted messages in the Message app, you can recover them with iOS 16. The deleted messages are moved to the Recently Deleted folder in the Message app, and you can easily access it.

To retrieve deleted chats, open the Message app and tap Filters. Choose the Recently Deleted folder and choose the chat you want to Delete or Recover the messages from.

Remember, deleted messages are available in the Recently Deleted folder for 30 days only. After that, the messages will be deleted permanently, according to CNET.

Convert the Currency Through the Phone's Camera

Usually, you browse the web to convert currency. However, this method can be hectic, especially if you are abroad.

With iOS 16, you can convert currency directly from your phone's camera and no longer need to enter the currency values online.

To convert currency directly through the camera, open the camera and point it to the text. Tap the Scan icon and once you are done, tap the Convert icon, and you will see the converted currency.

Live Translate Using the Phone's Camera

You can now translate text directly from the camera. The translations might not be 100% accurate, and it can still be a hit or miss, but it still works.

To use this feature, open the camera and point it to the text. Tap the Scan icon and choose the Translate icon.
